After 8 years of teasing, the long-awaited remaster of the album finally released, one day after the album's tenth anniversary. Basically what would've happened if THE GHOST~POP TAPE had a November 11th update.
All tracks have new mixes and masters, all of which are much cleaner than the originals.
"Ballad of a Poor Man" is 1 semitone higher.
"♥" no longer has vocals, and has been brought back to its original key from Air Guitar.
"HBK" has been sped up and repitched to match the key of "♥". These changes are also seen in "Violent fighting to come again!".
"Behold! A Pale Horse" has had a sample removed and is slightly faster.
"M.U.G.E.N." is slightly faster and is based off the extended version, making it the longest version of the track across all official releases of the album.
"Porn for Percussion" is significantly faster and the choir sample near the end now cuts off.
"Untitled¹" no longer has vocals and has had its instrumental sped up. It's basically just the instrumental to Re: Neon Kitchen now.
"God Bless My Homegirls" has been slightly sped up and had reverb removed. Also no longer contains background vocals.
"[Missingimagefile_ maladaptivedaydreaming.gif]" is no longer its own track and is tacked onto the end of "God Bless My Homegirls". It is also significantly faster and has less reverb.
"Untitled²" is based off the version of the song included on Version 3. Some vocals near the end have been removed and it is sped up. It also now features the same wrestling match sample as "Call Me Maybe".
"Neon Kitchen⁴" has been removed from the tracklist.
"Call Me Maybe" is pitched up for the first half and lacks the whistling section.
"Pu$$y #3" is slightly sped up.
"Bubblegum Crisis" has had adlibs and reverb removed. Lacks the "LIARA" snippet introduced on Version 3.
"LIARA" has had some of its Mass Effect samples omitted, is slightly faster, and lacks reverb on the drums.
"O Superman" has no real differences. It's just "O Superman".
"Untitled³" has had a sample removed and now features a gunshot sound at the drop. New text-to-speech voices have been added to the end.
"ODB" has been removed from the tracklist.
"Sakura" has a slightly different drum pattern, its outro monologue is much clearer, and is significantly longer.
Has a brand new cover featuring the GHOST~POP logo and his signature mouse pointer embroidered on a piece of black fabric. Cover on streaming eventually changed to the standard cover.
In the leadup to the release of this remaster, the Bandcamp page for the original was renamed to "THE GHOST~POP TAPE (オリジナル)". The page was updated after to include both the Expanded Edition tracks and the remaster tracks in one continuous tracklist.
